Things are working, good enough…
So why does something still feel off?

12 weeks Journey for women leaders who are frustrated that life looks "good enough", but something they can't name isn't right, and there's no space to think beyond the busyness.

We’ve worked with leaders from

Maybe?

  • You have a little voice in your head telling you how you should be doing a little more.

  • You're exhausted, questioning the price of success.

  • You're loving and kind and supportive to everyone around you. And you say the meanest things to yourself.

  • You're feeling frustrated, feeling inauthentic, and uncertain what leadership style is even yours.

  • You've probably been told you're too much. And not enough. Sometimes you believe both at the same time.

The Trap of busyness

Work is busy enough. My family is busy enough. There are already time blocks for everything.

Deep down, a thought emerges, maybe there is another way.
But you don't know where to begin, and it seems like too much.
So you carry on, because that's what's been happening.

Underneath sits the fear that if you slow down, you'll be left behind.

Here's the irony. If you keep thinking the same way, you're more likely to be left behind.

"I have the power to rewrite the terms under which I choose to walk through this world."

I began my coaching journey with Angga tired, stressed, drained and likely on the verge of burn out; throw in a hint of scepticism at whether coaching really would be the answer. 6 months later I can say that it's been nothing short of a journey of pure self discovery, understanding that I have the power to rewrite the terms under which I choose to walk through this world.

The armour worked & that's the problem.

Nobody builds armour for no reason. Perfectionism got you the grades.
Over-functioning built your career.

I don't promote "bring your whole self to work".
Business and corporate environments are often unsafe for women, and the armour is necessary.
The issue is knowing when to wear it and when it gets in the way.

When the armour becomes the default, you're solving the thinking with the same level of thinking.
That thinking comes from a nervous system that never switches off.

"I'm now leading with authority without losing authenticity."
I made myself small and agreeable to avoid conflict. Long term, this created expectations of me and affected my leadership brand with my stakeholders, and my promotion pathways. I practised ways to challenge healthily, especially with stubborn colleagues, and not take it personally. We also worked on my leadership brand, aligned with what's really important to me now.

What's missing is the earth 🌎

We live almost entirely digital lives, and we've filled every gap with input.

Beneath the Armour brings together two roles.
The executive coach works with you, 1:1 online, towards your specific goals.
The wilderness guide holds space for you to slow down, with the support of the earth.

"Space for reflection along with practical steps."
I found Angga's coaching style such a great combination of space for reflection along with practical steps for personal growth. The whole experience felt very personalised and was therefore hugely impactful. I feel I've come a long way and have the tools now to continue this journey.

"Aspects that I previously thought required different toolkits… With Angga, we explored it all."
I started working with Angga at a time where I wanted to explore my professional, spiritual and emotional sides more.
Aspects that I previously thought required different toolkits and therefore cannot be explored with one single coach. With Angga, we explored it all. Angga provided the right balance of active listening, challenging prompts, and supportive tools and words. We achieved all the goals I set out, and more.

Between sessions, you have Field Time.

This isn't hiking, and it isn't a walk round the park. It's practice with ways of being in nature that have been tested for thousands of years.
If you know nature is good for you but don't know how, or have trepidations around safety, especially as a woman, that's where we begin.

Instead of a break, it becomes a resource. We walk together through a map of wholeness, the Four Shields of Leadership Wholeness.
But the map is not the territory.
The insight that emerges already exists in you.

"Even my manager noticed these changes."
As a manager, I was struggling to maintain motivation and team morale during difficult times. Personally, this took a toll on my confidence. In just two months, I saw significant positive changes. My leadership style improved, and my team became more motivated and engaged. Even my manager noticed these changes, praising my adaptability and resilience in supporting the team.

"…do more of the strategic work that I love."
I started working with Angga to find ways to avoid burnout, and do more of the strategic work that I love. He helped me understand my habits and worked with me to create a new set of tools that have improved the quality of my work, and create value for my team and my customers.
- Carol C, Senior Manager, Energy

A simple walk but better.

The most common tool I gave to a C-suite leader is a walk. No phone, no podcast, no music.
Leaders who do it come back saying the same thing: "I can think again."

Field Time takes that further.

You didn't come in broken, and you're not leaving fixed.

This is a journey towards a more embodied wholeness, developing your agility and choice to move faster, and to move slower.

"The value of being, not just doing."
He taught me the value of being, not just doing. His expert guidance and unwavering support helped me find balance and create space in my life.

Meet the Founder

I'm Anggakara.

Husband. Father. A lover of life.

For 8 years and more than 4,000 hours, I've coached leaders at Google, Meta, Amazon, BP and Salesforce, including hundreds of women leaders across tech, engineering, finance, law and medicine.
I'm also a trained Vision Quest Guide by the prestigious School of Lost Borders, and a Churchill Fellow researching nature-based rites of passage across cultures.

People ask me why is a man working with women leaders?

In the past many of the leaders I've coached were the usual suspects.
As a deep advocate for DEI work, this work emerges from that frustration as the world needs more women leaders.
I was raised by an incredible mother, juggling a professional leadership career and at home, mum to 4 children, she inspired me and showed me that it’s possible to do this well.

I love this line shared by a female VP,
“We all come from mothers, and somehow we forget it the moment we walk into work.”

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 8 years coaching insights with hundreds of leaders

  • Working with leaders in topics power and influence inside patriarchal structures

  • Personal experience of burnout, collapse, and rebuilding from the inside out

  • Prime Minister's Office Points of Light Award 2023

  • UK's Sole Licensed Practitioner — Talents Mapping (TMUK)

  • Trained Vision Quest Guide, School of Lost Borders

  • Positive Intelligence Coach

  • Conscious Business Coach from Fred Kofman

  • Positive Psychology informed.

  • EMCC Practitioners Coach

I understand what happens when protective patterns become restrictive ones.

"A safe and comfortable environment free of judgment."
From our first session, he instantly was able to create a safe and comfortable environment free of judgment, allowing me to learn more about myself and use that expanded awareness in my everyday life. I particularly appreciated the balance Angga [struck] between offering empathy, well-dosed humor and challenges to support me in making progress towards my coaching goals.

Five Pillars.
One Transformation.

This programme foundation is built on 5 pillars, the patterns that I’ve seen in coaching hundreds of executives and high performers over the past 8 years in some of the world's biggest organisations.

Pillar 1: The Armour Was Smart Move

The strategies that built your career are now the ones getting in the way.

You didn't get to where you are by accident.
The way you learned to show up & the ability to walk into any room and hold your ground.
That was earned and it worked.

But somewhere along the way, the strategies that made you successful started costing more than they used to.
The higher you've climbed, the heavier it's felt.
The leadership presence that gets you respect in the room is the same thing that leaves you exhausted by the time you get home.
The standards that drove your career forward are the same ones that mean you feel never quite enough, no matter what the evidence says.

Underneath the strategies, there's a story you've needed to be true,
I'm competent. I'm the one who holds it together.

And emotions, the quiet ones that surface when you're exhausted, those feel dangerous. Not just uncomfortable.
Because they threaten the story and the identity.

So the armour stays on.
Because you've been protecting something that felt essential to survive.

It's the most common thing I see in women leaders.
The armour that protected you on the way up is now the thing standing between you and the leader you actually want to be.
We don't start by dismantling anything.
We start by understanding what you built and what it's been quietly guarding all this time.

Pillar 2: The Voice Running The Whole Operation

The inner critic isn't a personal failing. It's the engine your success has been running on.

High performers have an inner voice. You probably know it well.
The one that runs the post-meeting analysis.
That replays the thing you said three days ago.

That voice is why you've achieved what you have. She pushed you and kept you sharp.
It meant you never stopped improving.
The one that means you never quite stop because stopping feels like the moment it all catches up with you.

On a deeper level, the inner critic is a protective mechanism, brilliant when it's conscious, costly when it's not.
And when it runs unconsciously, which for most high performers it does, constantly, it stops being fuel and starts being a drain.

Underneath it is an avoidance of emotions.
They mutates.
Avoid fear and it becomes anxiety.
Avoid shame and it becomes perfectionism.
Avoid sadness and it becomes numbness.

The emotion doesn't disappear.
And the voice keeps running the operation.

The self-criticism that used to drive performance starts undermining it.
The standard that built your career starts quietly dismantling your confidence from the inside.

And here's the part that matters for your leadership right now: you cannot lead with full presence when part of your attention is permanently turned inward, managing the voice.

The most sophisticated leaders I work with aren't the ones who've silenced the critic.
They're the ones who've understood it well enough that it no longer runs the show.

Pillar 3: Evolution, Not Revolution

Sustainable high performance doesn't come from transformation. It comes from integration.

Every high performer I've worked with has had a version of the same experience:
a course, a coach, a retreat, a breakthrough moment that made everything feel clear, and then, within days or weeks, the old patterns were back.
Sometimes worse than before.

That's not a failure of commitment.
That's what happens when change comes faster than the body can trust it.
Like an elastic band stretched too far, before long, it snaps back.
And sometimes it snaps back further than where you started.

Real change, the kind that holds in high-stakes environments, in the rooms that matter, doesn't come from revolution.
It comes from evolution.
Small, steady, integrated shifts that become part of how you lead rather than another technique you're trying to remember.

This work moves at that pace.
Exactly as fast as change can actually hold.

That's the ground we walk on together.

Pillar 4: Safety Before Depth

You can't access your full leadership capacity from a nervous system that's been in override for years.

There's a conversation I have with almost every client early in our work together.
They've read the books, done the courses, retreats and even have the intellectual framework.
And they're still stuck.
Still performing while exhausted.
Still not quite leading the way they know they're capable of.

The missing piece is almost always the same: you can only access what your nervous system believes is safe to access.

High performers override internal signals constantly, it's practically a requirement of the environments you've built your career in.
But there's a ceiling to what cognitive understanding alone can shift.
The body holds what the mind keeps explaining away.
And the body doesn't respond to insight.
It responds to safety.

Real change happens through direct emotional experience, not conceptual understanding.
That's how the body actually works.

This is where bio-feedback & somatic body-based practices come in.
As the most direct route to the leadership capacity you already have but can't consistently access.
Because regulation isn't a detour from performance. It's the foundation of it.

Pillar 5: Connection is the real metric of success

Leaders that are admired by their team are the ones who stopped leading alone.

There’s a loneliness to leadership. The higher you go, the fewer people there are who really know what it's like.
The performance that starts in the office and doesn't quite stop when you get home. The feeling of being respected and no one knows the real you.

I've sat with enough women leaders to know they have their version of this experience.

External success without connection is hollow.

Beneath the productivity, the status, the control, there is one core drive.
For Connection.
When defenses increase, connection decreases.

The work we do together isn't just internal. It's relational.
What becomes possible in your leadership & authority when you don’t wear the old armor?

Imagine the ability to walk into the hardest room and still be recognisably yourself.

Growth and wholeness isn’t about becoming more, it’s about uncovering what’s already there.

It comes from being genuinely connected.
To yourself.
To the people you lead.
To the life you're building while you're building your career.

And it's where we end up every time.
